Web design and content strategy is a new field that combines classic use of HTML, CSS, and Javascript with an acute awareness that every website is a unique canvas illuminating information for the client. I pride myself on providing not only the nuts and bolts of "pushing pixels," but marketing advice and support pulled from my extensive research and years of experience as a marketing copywriter and graphic artist.

Some results are gorgeous — websites that are aesthetically pleasing and full of cutting edge technology. These are fun to do, but the best sites I've created are those that express fully the needs of my customers, whether through astute navigation, an awareness of user interface design principles such as "Don't Make Me Think"^*, or simply through their language of text and graphics. Some look plain and others are fancy, but all of my favorite projects entailed helping my client manage their existing content as well as guide them through the arcane ways the Internet differs from print; solving problems of navigation, security, search engines, and resources. I am most of all a problem solver.
