I offer three levels of web site design:
Basic website
5 to 10 pages in size with the option of a custom contact email form, masthead, and interactive drop-down menuing.
Basic Site: $500
A medium-sized site
Also called a "brochure site." These sites can be implemented using the Joomla! Open Source content management system platform that allows users to maintain their own sites with limited HTML knowledge. Because the site is database-based, there are no pages, but this size project limits the "extras" to contact forms, icons, masthead, and a five-image slide show.
Intermediate Site: $1,500
A large web portal
A news or web 2.0 site based on Joomla! providing such interactive communication tools as private messaging, photo gallery, forum, video gallery, individual blogging, chat room, downloads manager, and other web 2.0 social networking applications.
Large and Complex Sites: $3,000 - $5,000
Discounts are offered for non-profit organizations. All projects are proposed as fixed-fee plus expenses. I am also available for consultation on content strategy, website analysis, and search engine optimization analysis on an hourly basis.
